New & Improved…..Gunner!
Gunner had a really great day today!
He roamed around the yard quite a bit until he got tired and then came up and lounged on the deck. He enjoyed the fresh air and actually played with toys that he hadn’t touched for a very long time. He chased a rubber hamburger all around, squeaking it and even rolling on his back! Like he didn’t have a care in the world.
I tried not to act concerned as I read my magazine, peeking over it as he played and romped like a puppy. I decided to go inside for a cup of coffee and see what he thought of that idea. He didn’t even notice I was gone! I watched him out the window as he stretched and sprawled out for a nap, just like old times! So I was able to go about my work, for a change!
It’s so good to see him playing again!

Oh, well done, Gunner! I’ve been out of the loop for a little while. It’s simply wonderful that he’s recovering so well. It’s so hard not to get wrapped up in all the worrying, isn’t it?

Thanks! He is just amazing! Can’t help the worrying but I’m starting to calm down little by little.
As a parent, worry just goes with the territory! But your guy sounds like he’s getting back to normal, and feeling really good! We’re so glad to hear it!

Congrats on this milestone! Enjoy it and let Gunner know that you are happy, he will definitely feed off that and you’ll both have a great time. There are still some ups and downs to come your way, so expect them but don’t worry about it!
